Who we are?
My name is Ádám Balogh, I am involved in the selling of optical frames and sunglasses for more than 15 years. My wife, Eszter, is an environmental expert, an active participant and trainer in green economy related projects. We established the Green Eyeland Ltd. together in 2023, the name of which reflects both of our professions. We took over the operation of ’Nagykovácsi Optika’ with our family business in October 2023.
I was born in Nagykovácsi, and we also live here with our daughter. That is why it is our top priority to operate this optical shop even above the expected standard for our fellow residents and for customers from the surrounding area. We focus on the constant development and expansion of our services and our machinery background.
Our optometrist, Piroska Figur is the expert whom our clients and patients can turn to for help. She performs eye tests and helps our customers to find the right type of lenses and the perfect optical frames.
Piroska began her optical studies immediately after high school, graduating as an optician in 2012 and then as an optometrist and contact lens specialist at SOTE in 2019. She has been continuously training herself ever since, learning about alternative and traditional medical solutions and options protecting our eyes.
