Eye Test or Vision Check?

Many people confuse “eye test” and “vision check”, but they are two different processes. What is the difference between them?

Eye test or vision test:

is a comprehensive, thorough examination performed by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. The purpose is to assess the health of your eyes and diagnose vision problems such as near-sightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.

Vision Check:

A quicker, simpler check to see whether your current glasses or contact lenses are suitable. This is often a basic visual acuity test and does not involve a detailed screening.
